Barn Timer — Privacy

Barn Timer is a visual timer for bath time. No account, name, email address or date of birth is required.
Preferences on your device
Time, animal, sound and language choices stay in the app’s local storage. We do not send them to a server. You can delete them in Android storage settings. An ongoing bath is not restored after the app process is closed.
Local operation
The Android app bundles the timer, illustrations, languages and sound and works offline, including its first launch. It has no app analytics. Cloudflare hosts the website but is not needed to run the app.
Advertising and children
A native Google AdMob banner may appear during bath time, separate from the website’s AdSense. Requests receive child treatment and a maximum content rating of G. We use no mediation and do not send timer preferences for targeting. Debug builds use only Google’s official test ads. Google may process IP addresses, technical device information, ad interactions and diagnostics to deliver, measure and protect advertising. We remove the advertising ID permission and apply child treatment before initialization. UMP is told the user is under the age of consent; we do not assume consent or parental permission. If privacy conditions do not permit ads, the timer keeps working without them.
Android controls
You can delete local data in Android settings and use the app offline. External links open in your browser. Ad privacy options are available when required by Google. Child treatment does not eliminate all data processing or guarantee legal or store approval.
Owner, retention and your rights
Barn Timer is operated by Thiago Ramos. For support, privacy questions or personal-data requests, contact info@madsensei.com. The app is intended for children aged 5 and under with a parent or guardian. We do not ask children to submit personal information. There are no child accounts or registration. Preferences remain on the device until cleared or the app is uninstalled. Google AdMob and UMP may process IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), interactions, crash and performance diagnostics, and identifiers allowed under child-directed treatment for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. The advertising ID permission is removed. Traffic to these services is encrypted in transit using TLS. Google retains data according to its policies; we do not control or promise deletion timeframes for those services. Parents and guardians may contact us to exercise applicable rights, including access, correction and deletion. Children do not need to provide personal data to use the timer. There are no in-app purchases.
